One to one support
Emotional support, advice and information on a number of issues including:
• Emotional needs
• HIV treatments information and management
• Immigration, housing, welfare benefits and hardship grants
• Developing coping strategies
• Emotional and practical help to support you and your family
• Issues relating to pregnancy and childbirth and children
Groups
We currently provide a number of support groups and drop-in sessions for individuals, families, children and young people living with or affected by HIV. People with similar experiences can come together to share their thoughts and feelings. The groups provide individuals with the opportunity to talk through issues and develop coping strategies. Complementary therapies
We offer a range of complementary therapies, including massage, reflexology, reiki and acupuncture. There are many benefits from therapy including: relief from stress, pain, side effects, relaxation and general well being.
Training and Workshops
We provide a number of opportunities to learn new skills and develop learning including: Positive Self Management, HIV treatments information, Confidence building and self esteem, relationships and disclosure and many more. We also provide training and information sessions for professionals and groups and run a positive speakers programme.
